Benefits

Time

Up to 1 minute

Ingredients

#1: organic plain steel-cut oatmeal; e.g. NOW Foods Organic Steel Cut Oats, or Bob’s Red Mill Organic Steel Cut Oats.

#2: mixed fruit and nuts with more fruit than nuts; e.g. International Harvest “Go Take a Hike!” raw organic trail mix (golden raisins, cashews, mulberries, goji berries, cacao nibs, pistachios), or Wilderness Poets Organic Wild Mix “Abundance Trail Mix” (cashews, pistachios, goji berries, golden raisins, golden berries, cocoa nibs sweetened with coconut nectar).

#3: Orgain Organic Almondmilk +Protein Unsweetened Vanilla (shaken).

Steps

  1. Combine a half-serving to serving each of ingredients #1 and #2 in a bowl. No need to refrigerate or heat the oatmeal, nor soak it; it can be eaten as is.
  2. Shake ingredient #3 and pour enough of it to nearly cover the top of the mix.

How to eat

Use a spoon. Ideally combine multiple ingredients per bite. Optionally pair with a glass of additional Orgain milk to side, or other healthy beverage of choice.
